What does your organization do?
DALF works with local and national labor and community organizations around policies and initiatives in support of worker rights. All officers are democratically elected bodies dedicated to represent the interests of working people at the state and local level. We mobilize our members and community partners to advocate for social and economic justice and we strive daily to vanquish oppression and make our communities better for all people—regardless of race, color, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, or ethnic or national origin.

  • Navigation for WORKNOW members interested in construction careers for placement in varying positions, especially registered apprenticeships associated with local unions.
  • In collaboration with WORKNOW backbone team, providing supportive services like boots, tools, gas, grocery
    Assistance with union dues/fees and apprenticeship registration fees
  • Assistance with CDL class/testing fees
  • In partnership with WORKNOW, the Denver Area Labor Federation has compiled an
  • Unemployment Resource and FAQ Guide for all WORKNOW members who have been laid off or had their hours significantly reduced during the COVID Crisis.
